Tonight, Friday July 13th, enjoy live music and fun activities at Friday Fest in Downtown Melbourne. This family street party is held on the second Friday of every month in beautiful Downtown Melbourne, Florida. Friday Fest begins at 6:00 pm and runs until 10:00 pm, with live performances, various street vendors, and lots of great activities for children. This month’s live entertainment will be The “Country Classics” Band, bringing some Nashville classics along with some old time rock and roll…get ready to dance and sing along with this spectacular band!
Friday Fest in Downtown Melbourne is the perfect night out for a family, a group of friends, or a great date night… and bonus, admission to Friday Fest is free! New Haven Avenue is closed to traffic during Friday Fest, so you can browse the shops and enjoy the street vendors without having to worry about cars or traffic. The bars and restaurants in Downtown Melbourne are all open for business during the event, so you have plenty of choices for drinks, dinner, dessert, or whatever you desire! Another great event happening this weekend is the 14th Annual Indialantic Craft Festival, held just steps from the beach at Nance Park in Indialantic, Florida. The Indialantic Craft Festival will be held on Saturday, July 14th and Sunday, July 15th from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm both days. Admission is free, so stop by and browse the works of over 100 of the nation’s most talented artists and crafters. Enjoy a huge variety of handmade jewelry, pottery, ceramics, photography, painting, and clothing, among many other unique and special crafts.
The Indialantic Craft Festival will also be featuring a Green Market, offering plants, flowers, orchids, exotics, herbs and spices, handmade soaps, and gourmet specialty foods, all available for purchase. Be sure to check out this weekend’s Indialantic Craft Festival – the always popular event blends the sun and sand of quaint Indialantic with fabulous local arts and crafts… it’s sure to be a hit!
I highly recommend visiting both of these great, FREE events – Friday Fest in Downtown Melbourne tonight, and then the Indialantic Craft Festival at Nance Park in Indialantic on Saturday or Sunday.
