Why video is a good idea... don't miss the boat!

Video is very important to use in all business, but in real estate it's imperative that you do it because of the amount of competition out there.   And for those who are using video, many are not doing it correctly.  Just having a video is not always a good thing... especially when it's done poorly or looks too average.  The following video explains what video does for you and why it's so important to do it the right way.

PLEASE NOTE: The following HotShotPros Video was produced by yours truly... even the ugly bald guy that is depicted here is well... "ME". (Sorry about that, the Actors were on strike that day... lol)

Thanks for the reminder Nathan, I know that I need to do more video, its a medium that I have a hard time with, both the production and the getting used to seeing myself on camera, but I just have to get out and do it.

You bet Bob.  It is difficult to be in front of the camera, especially when you're editing it yourself. We are all our worst (or best) critics.  The biggest thing to remember is... just do it.  In time you'll get good at it. I guarantee it!

Hi Rocky,

This is a very common issue.  The best thing to do is to leave the video up and running, but produce a better one.  If it's a Youttube video, you can easily place annotations over the video to redirect them to the better video.

It's also important that you syndicate your new video correctly and optimize it so that the search engines eat it up.

Good Luck, and Let me know how it goes!

I want to turn my focus to concentrating mostly on Video. With SEO on google, they can change their algorithms and a year of work can be down the drain. At least with video you have a tangible product to fall back on.

That's  very true. SEO is huge with video!  It not only makes buyers and sellers trust you... but also makes Google and the other search engines love you.  But just like in the video above... it only works if you do it right.  I could go for days on that subject though.  I wish you well, and if you need any advice or help... feel free to ask.  We're all in this together!
