In the years that it had been in business, Bass Hall had gradually succeeded in making itself known as one of the premier entertainment and art venues in downtown Fort Worth. Many of the best plays, musicals, concerts and other popular performances such as those by Fort Worth Symphony have been held in this highly acclaimed venue.

Buy Your Season Tickets
If you live in or near downtown Fort Worth then it’s definitely worth buying season tickets for the regular program of performances held at Bass Hall. With your season tickets, there’s never a night that you’ll be left thirsting for the very best of art, culture, and entertainment. Whether it’s a lighthearted comedy, a romantic musical, or a fantastic concert that you are after – all of them are offered at Bass Hall.

Venue Rentals
You can host your own party or event in Bass Hall as well. In 1998, one of its buildings was renovated by the Performing Arts of Fort Worth and which eventually resulted into the creation of the McDavid Studio and the Van Cilburn Recital Hall. These two halls are available for rental and may be used to host both private and corporate events.

Children’s Education
Bass Hall is also greatly supportive of educational pursuits of arts and culture, which is why it also hosts a wide range of classes on various subjects and varying levels. Children who have participated in these programs were given the opportunity to work with professional companies and artists such as the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, the Fort Worth Opera, the Texas Ballet Theater, and many others.

Eat at Sundance Square Restaurants
You can enjoy the best meals in downtown Fort Worth before or after the performance. Just choose one of the numerous nearby Sundance Square restaurants. As the city is best known for its superb choices for cuisines, there’s sure to be something that would appeal to your palate.
To start with something light, you can enjoy a taste of Southwestern food and sample authentic “cowboy” fare at the Reataor you can just lounge back and enjoy snacks while watching your favorite sport teams in one of the thirty wall-mounted HDTV screens in Frankie’s Sports Bar.
For entrees, places like P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, the Flying Saucer, and Razzoo’s Cajun Café tend to be quite popular with tourists and locals alike. Sundance Square is also home to several dessert stations and cafes where you can enjoy everything from yogurt to ice cream to your favorite Starbucks coffee.

One of my favorite places to dress and take my wife to a fabulous night out.

Happy Trails,

Donnie
