Here we are in the new month of August. In Florida, that means back to school.

Volusia County, Florida

Okay, that was impressive: Seminole County has an iphone app on their page for their calendar; it's called iCalendar!

Orange County, Florida

What's so interesting is that once again, the schools never begin on the same day. Orange and Volusia are both August 20th and Seminole is August 13th.

August 3rd through the 5th is Florida's Sales Tax Holiday. You won't want to miss these savings on back-to-school items for the children. Included are clothing, footware, accessories or school supplies.  See page 5 on the next link for the complete list of covered items.
