Thanks, Will, for sharing your experience and your photograph. Grandfathers are expected to tell it as it is and are always reliable sources of wisdom.
Will, That is a great picture. It looks like the antlers are coated with frost. What a great grand dad you are to answer all the "why's".
Hi Will,
Great photo and I agree with Belinda...you are a great granddad as those why questions can be difficult and hard to maintain your cool. I am sure these will be special moments and he will probably have a love for animals.
What a fantastic photo!!!! I did not know that male deer had fur on their antlers when they are young. But then the only deer I have ever seen is the little Florida deer.
As for grandchildren asking WHY to everything, I can certainly relate to that since my granddaughter is 5!!!
Beautiful buck Will! Hope he continues to live and thrive in the wild. Hunting Season is slowly approaching however...
How do you explain it to a 40 year old? LOL I just went on google and looked it up because of your post Will! Please forgive my ignorant city ways. Great pic and thanks for sharing!
What a great photo! I grew up with a family of hunters and I never knew about the fuzz either! Learn something new everyday :)
Will, You have captured an incredible creature. What a rack!
Great shot Will. Yeah, kids at that age has a favorite word and that is "why?" Thanks for sharing it.
That sounds like an entertaining conversation, Will. What a great picture. We don't see to many around here with the velvet on, but they're around.
Ah yes, WHY? WHY? WHY? --- let's never forget why this question is so important.
Why? did you forget that. LOL. I forgot it too. Another wonderful picture. Thanks for sharing.
