One of the benefits about being a REALTOR® is that you regularly come into contact with many different tradesman so when it comes to choosing a company to replace our broken down old fence I knew exactly how to find the right company. The first thing I did was to send out an intra office email to the 200+ agents in our office asking for their recommendations. I contacted them via phone and made an appointment for their estimator Jerry to come out. I found Jerry very knowable and he explained the whole process and what options I had. He also broke down exactly what the cost of materials would be and also labor costs. I would say that Jerry was at my home at least an hour and I felt that we truly wanted to help me choose what best suited my needs.

When they started work it took them two full days to do everything. His crew was very tidy and considerate of our neighbors when they had to move their truck from the back alley to allow neighbors to get in and out of their driveways.

Also another thing I liked about Bill Johnson Fences was that all their wood is pre-stained to the color of your choice so all the wood gets stained and protected and not just the wood that is visible once the fence is constructed. The advantage of going with a fence company that screws the boards as opposed to using nails is that if a board splits or becomes warped it is very easy for them to come back out and switch out that board at no cost.
