Job Fair for School Bus Drivers being held by Katy ISD
Katy ISD is hosting a Job Fair on Friday August 24, 2012 from 9 AM until 2 PM.
The fair will be held at Morton Ranch High School.
Morton Ranch is located at 21000 Franz Road, Katy Texas.
All school bus drivers are responsible for driving on a split shift and driving safely. They are also to ensure students arrive at home and school on time.
Starting wages are $13.31 per hour.
Criteria for becoming a driver:
1) All applicants have to be 21 years or older.
2) Hold at least a high school diploma or DED equivalent.
3) Possess a current and valid driver’s license.
In addition, all must obtain a commercial driver’s license plus endorsements and pass a Texas bus drivers training course.
Good news is that Katy ISD provides both classroom and behind the wheel training for bus driver’s.
If you have a child between the ages of 18 months through elementary school age day care will be provided.
