Latest API test scores for Gilroy Public Schools
The new API test scores are out and the results are posted by the California Department of Education last Thursday for the 2011-2012 year. Target growth for schools with scores of less then 800 in 2011 have a target growth.
Results for Elementary schools listed from high to low with El Roble and Rod Kelly being the only two elementary schools with increased test scores:
Luigi Aprea: 888 decreased by 10
Las Animas: 863 reflecting a decrease of 1
Rod Kelly: 841 reflecting an INCREASE of 16
El Roble: 797 INCREASED by 16 - target growth for 2012 was 5
Antonio Del Buono: 787 decreased by 8 - target growth for 2012 was 5
Glen View: 787 reflecting a decrease of 9 - target growth for 2012 was 4
Eliot: 781 reflecting a decrease of 50
Rucker: 780 reflecting a decrease of 29
Results for Middle schools listed from high to low all with increased test scores:
Solorsano 848: increased by 23
Brownell: 815 increased by 4
South Valley: 768 increased by 3
Results for API scores for High schools in Gilroy listed from high to low most with increased test scores:
Dr. T.J. Owens gilroy Early College Academy: 931 reflecting an increase of 5
Christopher High: 798 reflecting an increase of 2 - target growth for 2012 5
Gilroy High: 745 reflecting an increase of 6 - target growth for 2012 5
Mt. Madonna: 563 decreasing by 16.
Results for API scores for Gilroy's new and only charter school:
Gilroy Prep School: 978. This is the first report on this new charter school in Gilroy.
