Oops! I did it again. No I am not about to burst out and start singing like BritneyOops! I did it again. Spears-SORRY. Happy Friday to you all. Hope you enjoying your day so far generating buyer and seller leads, showing properties, going on listing appointments, negotiating and closing deals. I just got off the telephone with a DC home owner who is not only looking to sell her house (if the numbers are right)but also wants to buy in a different area once she sells her Deanwood DC house.

Also I want to say "Thank you very much" to all you beautiful for suggesting my blog as well as commenting on my blog What my telephone conversation with my client brought me?. It has now become a FEATURED BLOG. Maybe I should've named this blog "What my telephone conversation with my client brought me?"-THE SEQUEL. If you read this blog then you probably know where I am going with this one. Yesterday I was "talking a little higher than what I should be talking in a PG County MD public library. While I was talking to my client on the phone,I glanced to my left and guess what the lady on the computer next to me was doing? Take a wild guest. Give up? Alright. Alright. She was searching for "Houses for sale" on some real estate agent's website. So you know I wasn't going to let this one get away.

After I finished talking to her I said I am very sorry for being very loud in the library. She said that's ok. And she asked me the question that every real estate agent love being asked "Are you a Real Estate Agent?" Eyes lit up. My face kinda looked like this. Steve Carell 40 year old Virgin

Okay! I didn't really looked like that of course-LOL. I said well yes. Then she asked me do I have a business card? I told her that I didn't have one with me. THERE IS A REASON FOR THAT. MIGHT WRITE A BLOG ABOUT THAT LATER. So I wrote my information on a piece of paper along with a lender's info and gave it to her. I also asked her for her name and number. She didnt give me her number because she just lost her phone and she is supposed to be getting a new one. But she did give me her e-mail address. She told me that she along with her husband are in the market to buy a PG County MD Houses on sale. So we talked a little bit. Couldn't talk much since I had to go show property to another client.

But once again talking about real estate helped me generated a lead who would've never known that I was a Real Estate Agent if I wasn't talking about it very loud on the telephone. So whereever you are in public talking on the phone with a client "TALK LOUD" OF COURSE NOT TOO LOUD. Talking too loud can be annoying and a turnoff. But just talk loud enough for people to hear and know that you are a real estate agent. That's it for me. Hold up. I see someone next to me. Time to call my real estate client.:-)
