Rebecca - beautiful transformation of the tree with the seasons!  And, while my friend Jane doesn't get to appreciate the fall in the southern part of CA - we here in northern CA get lucky.....

Rebecca, I like crab apple trees as well.  I've had one at just about every house I've owned...they're so easy to prune into a striking tree.

Rebecca: I love all the colors that fall brings.  Your crabapple tree is a good source of food for the local birds too!

It's easy to see why you love crabapple trees.  We've spent the majority of the day out walking the Bosque (woods along the river) enjoying Mother Nature with Dixie dawg.

Rebecca, how lucky you are to have such a beautiful view out your office window.  I love the sequence of photos. During summer we don't notice the subltle changes but fall changes are so drastic just within a week.  Love the bird, too.

AND our southern friends are missing all the fall displays unless we share ours with them.

Those are wonderfully vivid colors, Rebecca!  This morning, I noticed our leaves are really beginning to turn colors.  We seem to lag behind your area, with autumn leaves.
