Late October hike Holderness New Hampshire. It's no wonder Hollywood chose Squam Lake for the movie Golden Pond. Back when I was in college the Fonda's came in to a restaurant I worked at a number of times while the picture was being shot...Now here are some pictures for your enjoyment.
These were all shot from the top of Rattlesnake Mountain off rte 113, this is an easy walk (hike) for anyone.
....Still a little color in Late October, Looking West towards the Vermont mountain ranges.
... A delightful red oak and a few colorful islands can be seen in this shot.
..This Last one was Taken on a Prior visit, but the picture was too nice not to share, if you are ever in the White mountains or Lakes region of New Hampshire and want some real estate -or- best hikes advice give me a ring.
