This is like the gift that keeps on giving and I so appreciate our Valued Member Richard caring enough to share this significant gift. I highly recommend you put his simple suggestion immediately into action.
Back near the start of 2012 I joined a like my facebook group in linkedin which daily ask me to like other Facebook pages. So, whenever asked I place a my join ActiveRain link on every Facebook page I like. It generates lots of referral points for me. In fact, just doing this one effort consistently, I have recruited 73 new ActiveRain members since February 2012. 
Now, implementing Richard's suggestion is going to recruit even more because I simply followed his easy directions. What a blessing to have a giving member like Richard sharing his wisdom in ActiveRain! Indeed, it is well worth a repeat!

In fact, some of you are actually ADDICTED to ActiveRain and that's even better, if you have the time to commit and don't mind the lack of sleep. Luckily, There's A Group For That, Addicted To ActiveRain, which you may need to Join and they will either help you or enable you, whichever you prefer.
How To Passively Recruit NEW Members For ActiveRain
Whether addicted or not, as a Member, YOU have the opportunity to help increase the number of NEW Members
to make the site Bigger and Better, which benefits All Members.
It requires very little effort and will create an opportunity for YOU to earn more points by Passively Recruiting NEW Members. You don't even have to ask others to join, just show them the door to membership, YOUR Personal Door, and IF they join, then YOU will receive the equivalent of 10% of points earned by the new member or members.
Some Members have earned hundreds of thousands of Points simply by Inviting others To Join ActiveRain. It's EASY and a Win/Win/Win.

Create YOUR Personal Referral Link and add it anywhere that you want to passively recruit for ActiveRain.
How to add The Referral Link to YOUR AR Blog SidebarAdding The Sidebar Referral Link is Easy: Go to YOUR Sidebar
Step 1: Click "add" located to the right of the word LINKS on YOUR Sidebar.
Step 2: Insert YOUR Personal Referral Link in the Link Box
Step 3: Add the Words to appear on your Sidebar in the Link Text Box. (Ex. Join ActiveRain & BLOG)
Step 4: Save the Link to your Sidebar by clicking the Add Link Button. I told you it was EASY!
To check the link, click it and you should be taken to a page with Red Letters showing YOUR Name.
My suggestion is to add The Personal Referral Link to the AR Sidebar, Blog Signature, Websites and include it within topic appropriate posts.
