The Paramount in downtown Huntington Long Island:
The “Strong Island Hurricane Sandy Relief Concert” will be held on Thursday at 8 p.m.
The show will be headlined by The Script, and will include other special guests to be announced, according to a news release issued Monday. All ticket proceeds will benefit the Long Island Red Cross for superstorm Sandy relief on Long Island.
The Script was originally headlining The Paramount on Dec. 5, but rescheduled their show to Thursday night to assist the effort.
Any ticketholders that are unable to attend The Script concert on Thursday night, may receive a refund on their original tickets at their point of purchase.

Concert To Benefit Lindenhurst Long Island Residents:
The Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts will join Long Island musicians on Sunday for a benefit concert to raise money for the Lindenhurst Relief Fund in the wake of superstorm Sandy.
The concert will be at the BACCA Arts Center, at 149 N. Wellwood Ave. in Lindenhurst from 6:30 — 9:30 p.m.
The show will feature Long Island musicians Bob Blatchley, Ira Perlman, Kendall and Korb, Sid Cherry, Wavelength, Cathy Kreger, Walt Sargent, Cecilia Kirtland, Josh Joffen, Maria Fairchild and Steve Robinson.
All proceeds, including raffles and snacks, will go to the Lindenhurst Relief Fund.

Wainscott Long Island:
A Hurricane Sandy Relief Concert hosted by Legislator Jay Schneiderman at LTV Studios in Wainscott from 7 to 9 PM on Saturday. Admission is $20 at the door. Check out their Facebook page, LtvSandyBenefit, for the list of performers and other details.
