39th Annual Daytona Beach Turkey Run
Every Thanksgiving Daytona Beach holds the Annual Turkey Run. It is a 3 day custom car show and swap meet. The Show attracts nearly 5,000 registered vehicles, and is one of the largest participant based shows in the United States. You will see everything from new, old, and in between. The event is open daily from 8AM to 4PM Thursday, November 22, 2012 to Sunday, November 25, 2012.
The Daytona Turkey Run 2011 is presented by the Daytona Racing & Recreational FacilitiesDistrict in partnership with The Daytona Beach Street Rods.
The automobile swap meet and sale is held annually in the infield at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach Florida on Thanksgiving weekend. The event is not sponsored by the Speedway.
The Daytona Turkey Run features thousands of special interest vehicles including street machines, customs, street rods, classics, show cars, sports cars, muscle cars, race cars and trucks. Another feature of this event is the large assortment of vendors selling parts and accessories both new and used, lots of great food and drink and a craft area.
Across the street from the event is the Volusia Mall for those looking to get in some serious shopping.
Admission is $15 at the door daily and $10 on Sunday. Children under 11 are free with an adult admission.
Free parking is available on Speedway property.
