My name is Debby McCluskey and I moved to the North Georgia Mountains about 10 years ago. My determination to have a life here out weighed my funds for a long time, but selling Real Estate gave me an opportunity to meet people from all outlooks on life plus see the beautiful places and homes this area has to offer.
I had spent 11 years in Law Enforcement where the building contained the Sheriff's Office along with the Jail facility and Courtroom for First Appearance. It was enclosed with Razorwire and cameras. So after the kids left the nest, my husband Bill and I moved to Towns County and became Caretakers for a 30 acre Mountain Retreat for a Florida Couple that only came up two weeks out of the year. It was complete with a pond and lots of wildlife. That was a wonderful 4 years experiencing the area. I then started work at the new E-911 facility that had opened in Towns County after the population became larger and needed their own facility to handle the County's emergencies.
But I wanted to meet new people and become more active in the community. Real Estate was the answer and I have never regretted the change. I love helping folks find their dream place. I remember the feeling when I came here. And looking at a Gazillion homes or acres before they find the right one is fine with me. I love to take photos and research using the computer and e-mails for assistance.
I can blab all day, but the real point is, if you need to get away, this is a wonderful place to relax and breathe new life. Taxes are cheaper. Creeks are abundant and the air is cleaner. What more do you want? I Wish You Well
