As you get older and older throughout all our lives you become very aware of change. Change like death and taxes will always be with us, so I tell people, "Get used to it!!" I see it with changing trends in homes from 20 years ago to now. The pace of change obviously is getting faster. I think of the McDonald's standard hamburger price from yesteryear in its beginnings to now. But with an individual's PERSONAL QUALITIES I marvel for some people I observe how nice it is that
Some Things Don't Change.
I know many people in this category and from ten years back and longer they impress me with how solid they are with consistency and trueness, and some kind of unwavering quality with their:
Integrity, Openness, Helpfulness, Decisiveness, Being Responsible, Enthusiasm, Loyalty, Being Positive, and even their Reliability, to name a few.
When I get depressed at others with the way they behave I wonder are they not making anymore good people these days? Then a fresh faced very young person proves me wrong with their goodness.
Do you have a favorite personal quality you have found in someone you know that has never changed and totally impressed you? Thank goodness for THOSE things we find that don't change in the sea of change we live in.
