The internet talks too much about it and the issue or shall we say prophecy has spawned associated subtopics. Majority of us may be laughing about the alleged connection of Psy’s Gangnam style as well as the 13-Day Jinx of 8-Division World Champion Manny Pacquiao. With only few more hours before the supposed end of the world on the 21st of December 2012, have you come to think of what you will do in case this prediction is really true? (There's several hours left before December 21 bids farewell to the calendar!)
Of course, I don’t want this happen this early either as I still have so many goals in life. I’ve got things unattended yet such as clients needing my assistance…so and so forth to infinite list of many things business-related. Yet, when in deep contemplation if this would happen so soon, I just want to think of it as a nightmare. Why? Because everything we have today would come to an end. Material things, families, friends, even the communities we establish such as ActiveRain and other groups – all of them would vanish….at least to my speculation. (Am I just entitled to that? I suppose I am, just as the end of world proponents are).
And just in case the world will end on 12-21-2012, I like to extend my sincerest thanks to everyone who became part of my life, family and friends, colleagues, well wishers and haters, acquaintances wherever you may be. Well, I guess some of you may be attending some end of the world parties while others might just be staying with their families and still some others would not care about it at all and just continue with their usual daily routines.
Let’s just hope and pray it doesn’t happen tomorrow, the other day or not even in years or decades to come….But when it happens, the world will be on a new cycle again where new settlers will be establishing their own real estates as their history unfolds!
