The Smithfield Christmas Parade is a can't miss event every year. Visit downtown Smithfield this Christmas season to see the historic downtown area. It's my favorite holiday event in our town and it draws big crowds every year. Main Street is filled with hundreds of people and the event always gets you in the Christmas spirit.
Smithfield is a former seaport small town in Virginia and was incorporated in 1750. The annual Christmas parade is a perfect opportunity to show the sense of community and small town spirit alive in this thriving wonderful town.

A wonderful old-fashioned parade that sums up the heart of Smithfield. This year's theme is:"An Olde Fashioned Christmas - Re-Booted...The Holidays Go Techno!". This year's Grand Marshall was our own mega-talented Bria Kelly!
