My favorite time of year is Spring. To me nothing yells Spring more than PLAY BALL! Every year I look forward to the day pitchers and catchers report to spring training in both Florida and Arizona. The days begin getting a little longer, and everything seems new again. It also signals the beginning of the real estate selling season (which is also one of my favorite seasons).
As a child I had to sit by with my transistor radio at my ear trying to get my favorite teams station in so I could listen to the game. Now we have MLB Network and Tivo....I can record the games on Tivo...get all the inside info on ESPN News, and watch it whenever I want. I am not sure...but when I had my transistor radio at my ear and I had to imagine what was happening from the announcers call...baseball never got better than that!!!!
