East Hampton 'Wild Places' Focus of Lecture

The East Hampton Public Library will host an author event featuring Michale Tougias, lecturer and author of 16 books, on Wed Feb 13 at 7pm in the community room of the library, 105 Main Street, East Hampton, CT. Tougias will narrate a slide presentation about his book New England Wild Places & Forgotten History, which features fascinating stories about his favorite wild places. Magnificent photography allows the author to share his love of 15 locations far off the beaten path and explain why they are special. The presentation includes information about place history, possible adventures, wildlife and suggestions for exploration and further reading. Humorous anecdotes and travel tips are also woven into the program.
