Hello! Today I'm going to try and save Maple Grove, Plymouth and New Hope residents a little time. As many of you know, the post office in Maple Grove is generally packet to the door and wait times can be long and sometimes seem never ending. Face it, they have a small branch in a very, very busy city. The city has far outgrown this post office and they are often short staffed and in some cases you can tell by the temperament of some of the employees.
Well, I found a hidden gem for residents living in southern Maple Grove, western New Hope and northeastern side of Plymouth. The US Postal Service has a fairly new, large, clean post office located just off 169 and Rockford Rd. I really like using this branch! It is very clean, seldom has any waiting, has a separate driver lane for vehicles dropping mail off in the blue boxes, they have everything you need out in the open and ready for a fast in and out.
Another reason I like this location is that the staff there are almost always in a good mood and ready to help and if the lines are short, they are willing to have a chat with you and see if they can answer any questions you have about mailing. One clerk even drew a map for someone who was lost and stopped in for help. So, avoid the long lines, the traffic block and the lack of parking at the Maple Grove brand and stop by this hidden gem the next time you need to mail a package or get stamps.

Open: 8:30 to 5:00 pm. and most transit also runs within 1-2 blocks for the non drivers out there.
