I want to thank all of the citizens of Florida who went to the polls on Tuesday and voted to approve the recently proposed Amendment 1.

Thanks to all of you who voted, we were all sucessful in the first step towards some personal property tax releif. This new amendment will by no means solve all of our property tax woes but, it will help those people who need to sell their home, and want to stay in Florida, not get stuck with a dramatically higher tax bill than they had in their last home.

This will help the local economy get moving again and hopefully once the ball starts rolling it will sustain its momentum and keep the driving force of Florida's economic engine running in high gear.
