Pork Chop Dinner in the slow cooker for tonight.  I just love the slow cooker when I am going to be busy this afternoon.  This recipe is a good one.

1 tbsp butter                                                   2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp olive oil                                                 1/2 tsp salt

6 bone in pork loin chops                                  1/2 tsp basil leaves

1 can condersed cream of chicken soup               1/4 tsp black pepper

1 can  (4 oz) mushroom                                    6 red potatoes, unpeel cut into thin slices

1/4 cup Dijon Mustard                                        1 medium onion sliced

1/4 cup chicken broth                                        chopped parsley

1.  Heat butter and oil in large skillet.  Brown pork chops on both sides.  Set aside.

2.  Combine soup, mushrooms, mustard, chicken broth, garlic salt, basil and pepper in slow cooker.  Add potatoes and onion, stirring to coat.  Place pork chops on top of potato mixture.  Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours.  Sprinkle with parlsey.
