A Ma! Las Tortillas!

A friend of mine posted this cat picture on Face Book the other day.Every time I see it; I want to break out in laughter. You would have to be of Hispanic origin or live with a Hispanic family to fully get the gist of it.

Sometimes in the Real Estate business we have to find some common ground in which relate to with people of other nationalities. Not understanding their culture can limit our ability to capture a lead, customer or client.

To be of better assistance to this type of lead,it is sometimes better to pass the lead onto someone who is better equipped socially for the good of the customer.

So true.  I do a lot of commercial and so many agents try to get involved in a transaction that they just are not equipped for.

Very true. Growing up in an Italian neighborhood and having many friends and family from different cultures, I can totally relate!  Have a great weekend.

Actually, this is very true.  Many times different cultures may be more comfortable working with someone who "understands" their culture.  Great post and I love the photo, but I can only surmise what it means lol :).

Hi Sussie,

Yes you are right on the money with your blog. It is always in clients best interest if there is another agent who has the needed experience or speaks the native to take over the deal as they would do it much better than yourself. If I do not understand something like Fanny Mae Home Path contract I pass the deal to another agent.

Well Pam you may not know that I am a tortilla expert.

Brenda: Yes.... Lost in Translation!

Melissa! I just have to laugh every time I see it!

Shelia don't forget the free Translation app I wrote about! It really works for me!

Robert: It is just a good idea to send those customers to someone else and get a referral.
