The interest rates actually went up .25% (from 3.0% to 3.25% for FH and 3.5% to 3.75 for FHP & HFI) which is surprising to me, based on the slowing in GDP last quarter.

Hopefully, this will be just a minor blip in the economy, based on the fears of the "fiscal cliff" fiasco.

But, even so, it is still a great time to buy a home in Iowa.
