The birds have begun to chirp and on my latest walk with Henry we noticed the spring bulbs starting to push through the winter ground.  Spring is coming which means there is no better time to dust off those winter blues and get out there to mingle with your local Rainers.

Meeting your virtual friends and colleagues in person usually begins with a smile and embrace.  I've seen it happen a hundred times before and this round should be no different.  Whether business, hobbies or fun is discussed it doesn't matter, the point is to get out from behind the computer and shake an AR buddy's hand.

MeetUps take place in a restaurant, lounge or other venue of the host's choosing; a relaxed environment where other AR members, friends and colleagues can gather comfortably.  Anyone in the real estate field is invited and urged to attend.  Everyone is on their own for drinks and food so the hosting responsibility is pretty easy.

All interested hosts should check out the above link and then email me with the details.  By hosting, you're simply picking a venue, date & time.  We'll get the word out there together.

This round of Spring MeetUps will take place April 8th through 13th.  All hosts will receive 2,000 points and members that attend will receive 1,000 points.

Get your hosting information (date, time, venue name, venue address) to me as soon as possible and I'll be posting a list of the MeetUps locations in the near future.

Something special happens at these MeetUps, host or attend one in April to find out just how fantastic the AR Community is in person!

  • Is day-time or night-time better?

Inna - The list will come out soon but you could host too.  Los Angeles is huge so many big cities have more than one MeetUp.

Kerrie:  You should take a spring trip to DC and attend the meet up at Pat Kennedy's house.  Then, you could enjoy the spring flowers and all of the great places to visit.  Pat would take you to one of her favorite places, the Tea Room at the top of the National Cathedral.

Hi Heather:  I just spoke with you.  In your comment #91... your information did not get automatically filled in... I am guessing that you must have typed it in manually.  That leads me to believe that you were not signed in at the time you made the comment.

What you can do in the future when you want to make a comment... is look at this page in the upper-right corner.  It will tell you if you need to "sign in".  Just click on that, then enter your Active Rain name and your password, and type away.  I think you need to re-do that if you turn off your computer, and then turn it back on again the next time you are going to use it
