Two Lessons From The Super Bowl

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty 0575737

Lombardi TrophyIn the turbulent world of real estate and lending, this year's Super Bowl outcome provided two very valuable lessons for life. Real estate sales have taken a tumble and the short term outlook for their recovery is not good. Many lenders have suffered through the fiasco of the subprime debacle and have taken hits to their financial picture if not completely gone out of business. The lessons from the Super Bowl can be applied to these industries.

The rocky times for the New York Giants started early in the season if not the year before for their much maligned head coach and their quarterback Eli Manning. But somewhere along the way this year if you paid close attention to the story they found their grit and saw their way through the storm.

The two lessons we can learn from life from the winners of this year's Super Bowl are:

Believe in yourself. When the chips are down and things look tough, you will find what you might have called friends, abandon you. Come together as a team and surround yourself with other believers who you consider winners. If you don't have confidence and believe in yourself no one else will.

When you are knocked down, get back up. This is a critical factor in success in all areas of life, football, and business. It's called persistence or tenacity. ALWAYS get back up. You can never be called a failure if you get back up.

So savor the story that was this year's Super Bowl with those two lessons and apply them to your life. Dreams really do come true.

That is a really good way to look at things.  What a great game that was.

Thanks Gary! You are right. No matter how grim things might look you can't stop believing. Can't remember who said it, but this is a good quote "It is always too early to quit"

I didn't see the game but I think sports are generally excellent examples of how to win in life. The dedication and team attitude found in team sports is crucial to success anywhere!

Gary,

Nice analogy......the Giants certainly percerviered  the rough times at the beginning.....and the game was good for me.....I like it when it holds true......cheaters never win!!!!!
