Seattle Mariners Baseball, Opening Day is Coming Soon

As a lifetime Seattle area resident and a long suffering baseball fan, I’m looking forward to Opening Night. This year The Mariners start their schedule on the road in Oakland on Monday April 1^st. The home opener will be one week later on Monday April 7^th against our new AL West Team, The Astros.

My Boys

These are some pictures I took last year at Safeco. Felix Hernandez had pitched his perfect game the week before, and my sons & I attended his next outing.

I’m optimistic this will be a better year for our team. I have no delusions of contending for a championship, but with some growth from our rookies and some leadership from several new veterans on the team, it should be an entertaining year for baseball in Seattle. Safeco Infield
