OK, many of us have heard the old adage:
"Common sense isn't always so common!"
Well, when it comes to your "health" it behooves ALL of us to take heed of these 'temples!'
As a real estate fraternity (Active Rain Rocks!) many of us to say it mildly, have "busy" schedules!!!
Now, we all should "slow" down for just a minute and make sure we are: Eating right, getting enough sleep (now I personally need to work on that one) and EXERCISE to relieve the daily stress we encounter(my personal favorite is the eliptical machine)
NOW, you may be thinking (possibly saying loudly, "Rick, how can I balance ALL these things on a weekly basis?)"
Ok, I'm glad you asked!!!
I've heard it said, "How do you eat an elephant?" ONE BITE AT A TIME!!!
Start (TODAY) with small steps! Just as we use our IPHONE's, IPAD's, Droids (you get the drift!) to schedule our appointments, etc.., HOW about some "YOU TIME?" Trust me on this, I GET IT! My "sched" is very busy (I think sometimes I need 36hours in a day!) but unless we are cognizant of our health, all money making ventures could well lead directly to health bills!
My challenge: Take some smalls steps, ie, doing a few minutes of walking daily, drink plenty of water, cut down on the sweets (again, I need to work on that one) look into some vitamin supplements, PLENTY OF PROTEIN, whether shakes or bars (protein bars...LOL!)
Of course, check with your doctor or health care provider, I'm no expert on health but I've been doing some of these things over the past year and I feel GREAT! (In my "Tony The Tiger" voice) I've dropped about 50 pounds and ready to "rumble with Mike Tyson!"
