Visitors and Weddings mix in Temple Square, Salt Lake City, Utah
Spring is a season of refined beauty in Temple Square, Salt Lake City UT. It is a generally shaded area, blossoms out, leaves still to appear. Gardens are neatly manicured and hold myriad blooms carefully selected and cared for to add to the spirit of this world famous attraction
Among its many buildings as well as the Temple are the Assembly Hall, the Tabernacle (home of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir), and North and South Visitors' Centers. Well arranged pathways lead visitors on an expedition of thoughtful adventure. Spring temperatures yesterday suggested appropriate wearing of coats and parkas.
Springtime at Temple Square is a time for weddings, lots and lots of them. After the ceremonies, couples appear in Temple Square for photography. Yesterday I counted six wedding parties at the same time overflowing into the Plaza with its boisterous arrangement of wonderful flowers that will go right through to Fall. Any weekday, all hours of the day - lots of wedding activity.
If you happen to be held over for whatever reason at Salt Lake City Airport, instead of berating the fickle airline, jump on TRAX (light rail) for a quick trip to Temple Square. You'll be glad you did
Spring - just another great season to visit Temple Square, Salt Lake City UT.
