Did you ever have a lemonade stand when you were a kid? Making a product, selling it to customers and earning your own money makes a kid feel empowered. This Sunday, May 5th, 2013, is officially Bryan-College Station Lemonade Day.
The cities of Bryan and College Station are encouraging kids to register a lemonade stand in their neighborhood. In exchange for registering, each child will receive a backpack that includes helpful instructions on all aspects of being an entrepreneur, such as advertising, creating a good product, customer service, etc. Kids can register online here or visit any of the following Bryan-College Station businesses:
