I think we should have had better choices, a person like NY's mayor Bloomberg who seems to run his fiefdom economically and in a user friendly manner would be an excellent choice of chief executive. After all he is a CEO and running the USA must require the same talents plus some "mindfulness". That being said, I don't mind Hiliary or Obama but for different reasons. Hillary seems to have proven she can run a decent campaign, reign in her troops including Bill and add if not a feminine touch, at least a female's point of view to a male dominated job. Mr Obama on the other hand seems to speak well about his dream of change - what that will be remains to be fleshed out in a workable fashion but I think his stewardship of the country would be a healing one. Minorities that currently feel disenfranchised from the mainstream could no longer feel that they simply had no chance to get ahead - with an partially afro american in the ""white" house, the institution of the US Government would no longer be completely alien territory. And the same effect is likely to permeate throughout the world. People of all non European backgrounds could look to DC and see a shining example of our beliefs - that merit will win out over bigotry and the words of Osama would ring more hollow than ever. Just my simple opinion. Now if they were both in power together we could forge a new and experienced future. Just don't try to bring back Camelot if Obama wins. Remember that JFK was the guy who seemed to leave us with the Vietnam War, the Cuban Blockage, the philandering presidency etc. He looked good at the time time but did he really inspire us?

Isn't Bloomberg the one that is taking away your rights? In NY and other states he has convinced....you DO NOT have the right to bear arms. My Aunt lives in Queens and owns a business their...they get robbed about once or twice a month, even customers get robbed on the way to her business. I asked he if they took phone orders or Debit cards? She gave me this astonished look and said "hell no, we only take cash". No wonder their is so much robbery in NY....the bad guys know that no one is packing and they are all carrying cash...and lots of it. People come to her place of business (flower shop) with sometimes up to $5000 to have flowers placed on every occasion for a year...Every election, the other party always runs on "change", more for for the voters than an actual promise. President Bush traded for absolute power to declare war....because "they didn't really think he would do it". How many people ask for things they don't want in hopes of getting them? How many politicians have promissed to recind that?...none...because they all still want the power...just like Hitler and Napoleon!
