A Good Realtor

What makes a good realtor?  Is it the fact that they close a lot of deals?  Is it that they are a genuinely good person who helps others?  Or is it both?  Why be a good realtor, when you can be a great realtor...reach for the sky at all costs?  In my opinion, a good, quality realtor who puts people first, is better than a cold, robotic selling machine any day, and I'll tell you why. 

A quality realtor closes deals, despite the obstacles.  My blog post "real estate transactions" elaborates on some of those obstacles.  I focus not only on the client, but on the deal itself.  With experience comes wisdom, with contacts come performance, and with a supportive team comes help.  With everyone being focused on closing the deal, the end result makes it all worth it. 

A wise realtor mentors clients toward their ultimate goal.  Sharing my blog posts like "what's my home worth" helps the client gain perspective from what I, and others have experienced in the past.  Remember, those who fail to learn the lessons of history are destined to repeat them.   

A good realtor gives back to the community.  Giving back to the community helps you to become a better part of it.  I have been associated with the Suntree Rotary Club and Children's Hunger Project for some time, and I shared the 2012 Great Taste at Suntree event.  Not only do I gain a better feel for the Brevard County community, it's the right thing to do, and it feels good too!
