Downtown Pismo Beach CA

Downtown Pismo Beach is one of the most vibrant locations in San Luis Obispo County. Potential homebuyers looking for real estate in Pismo Beach should be drawn to its eclectic aesthetic and community. Purchasing a home or condo in this neighborhood offers a front-row experience to a beautiful beach popular with tourists year round. The weather here is rarely anything but moderate with the exception of a marine fog that usually burns off by mid-day.

Most properties are within walking distance to the sand and can be surprisingly affordable. Smaller homes and condos with ocean views start in the $300-400,000 range. A condo on Price Street with a secluded courtyard, unobstructed views of the ocean and 884 Square feet recently sold for $360,000.  You will also find stunning properties that list for around a million that offer incredible views and beach front access. For example, a luxurious property on Cypress Street sold for $1,125,000 with 6 bedrooms, 4 baths, and 2600 square feet and granite countertops. Pismo also offers a wide selection of quiet, well maintained retirement communities with nice manufactured homes in the $200,000 range that usually have about 800-1000 square feet. A home on South Dolliver Street priced at $217,000 was a great deal on a home with 1038 square feet and a walk to the beach.

The Downtown core strikes the perfect balance between a bustling tourist destination and the privacy of the central coast. You can dine at some of the best restaurants in the area, including a local favorite, Splash Cafe that serves award-winning clam chowder and fresh seafood. Take a stroll down the boardwalk and pier or take your ATV to the Pismo Dunes just south of Downtown. Farmers markets and street fairs are always being held at the Dinosaur Cave Park. This is a highly sought after neighborhood and draws in buyers from all walks of life. It is great for young professionals, retirees, investors, or anyone looking for a charming vacation home. Real estate opportunities are endless.

Yes you do and my favorite Italian restaurant is there, Giuseppe's. My daughter graduated from Cal Poly, miss having a ready excuse to get up there.
