Helene - I LOVE this idea of posting this - not sure that the kids will but it's really neat. Things on the list sure have changed since I went to school, or my 34 yr old daughter went to school. It's also a great idea since perhaps this blog/list could be sent to folks to encourage them to get involved with programs that provide these items for kids/families that can't afford them. It can be a real burden. Happy back to school and thanks for putting this out there.

I don't have any kids but this doesn't stop me for shopping for school supplies each year.

We have a wonderful local charity where you can drop off school supplies and then TEACHERS can come and fill shopping lists for kids whose families couldn't afford their school list.

And I LOVE SHOPPING anyway and SHOPPING for a CAUSE just makes it so much more wonderful.
