Wordless Wednesday: Palm Springs Fire in the Sky
Like many other parts of our country, we are experiencing the smoke, ash, and danger that comes with summer wild fires. Tonite the town of Idylwild was evacuated and many other towns are on watch. Our prayers go out for the safety of the residents and the firefighters who are risking their lives to help stop this fire. With this danger, comes great beauty.

The fires are becoming way to frequent and are becoming scary. You are right there is beauty in the colors that are created..hopefully your fires will soon be contained..out thoughts and prayers are with you and your part of the country enduring these fires.
That photo looks like a painting Kathy. The fires must be terribly scary and dangerous.
Kathy, The fire season is a terrible thing! I do wish the fire fighters all they need to get them out! This is a great looking photo, in spite of the circumstances.
Kathy - Our local evening news has devoted a segment to reporting about the fire in your area. So tragic for those in fear of losing their homes, if they haven't already. Still, it creates an amazing picture, with the orange sky. Stay safe, and my thoughts are with those in the path of flames.
