Originators are my best friend!

Mortgage and Lending with Sande O'Leary Services

As a teenager, out of high school, I began working with loan originators.  I was always intrigued with how they could find the best loan type for each family they worked with.  Just trying to keep up with them has always been such a challenge and motivator.  Getting the deals takes a certain knack but keeping them takes a professional that really knows the business and has great people skills.

I've gone through many of life's issues and struggles which gives me the empathy needed in working "with" the borrower's.  I can understand some of the things they've gone through.  I've written so many explanation letters for borrowers.  All they have to do is give me some bullet points and let me go to town in writing for them.  Most people have difficulty in putting into words what they've been through.  I help them and since the explanations are typed, it's easier for people to read too.

Even though I'm a "contract" processor, I know that the loan reps want to meet with me face-to-face in working on their loans and I like that too.  I have an extra desk at my in-home office where I encourage my reps to come by and spend time as we work "together" on THEIR files.  Being on "contract" also gives me the correct pay incentive to get loans "closed" because that is when we ALL GET PAID.  No one has to worry about whether their files are actually receiving attention.  I work hard and fast.  There are loan "types" for everyone and that plays a big part in the "integrity" I have in my work ethics.  I believe and practice the "truth".  My personality is flexible, I am an optimist, helpful, caring, faithful, loyal and look for the best in every situation.  I've been through many differing real estate markets.  The ups and the downs.  Interest rates went as high at 18% at one time.  We then saw the 1% ARMS.  You name it, I've seen it.  Somehow I have always been able to see how NOW is the time to buy or refi!!!

As a plus, my many years spent in underwriting has only enhanced my processing skills.  I've taught many people in our industry how to originate and put loans together and explained the "why's" of needing certain documentation, explanations, how income is computed, when you can and when you can't use overtime, bonus', etc.  Teaching is a "love" of mine.  I guess it's because I have this passion for our business and in helping people become homeowners, taking pride in their properties and communities.  I'm a 6th generation Native Californian.  My ancestors came out West in covered wagons so I know the California market very well.  I'd love to work "with and for" YOU!  Your satisfaction is my "Specialty".     Sande O'Leary
