International Lighthouse & Lightship Weekend at the Jupiter Light

Local Ham Radio Clubs Jupiter Tequesta Repeater Group (JTRG) and Martin County Amateur Radio (MCARA) and Boy Scout Troop #721, contact Lighthouses and Lightships around the world at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum. Join us -activities for children, Ham radio displays and educational tents including the American Red Cross. Free to public. The purpose is to bring awareness to need to preserve and restore lighthouses and lightships, promote amateur radio and foster International goodwill.
Admission: Radio displays are free in Lighthouse Park. There is an admission fee for the Lighthouse & Museum. Admission to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum is $5 adults (valid only on 8/17-8/18,) $5 children ages 6-18, children under 6 and active US Military admitted free. Children must be a least 48” tall to climb tower.

Hike Through History

Discover the topography and natural history of the Jupiter National Landscape Conservation System historic site. This 2 mile trek passes through historic points of interest on the 120 acre Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area. The hike departs from the flag pole at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum at 8:00am and takes approximately 2 hours to complete, tour is weather dependent. Admission is free but space is limited- RSVP required 561-747-8380 x101.
Lighthouse Chickee Chats-Story Time & Crafts for Kids

Attention Kids: Join us under the Lighthouse Chickee for storytime & craft activity about Lighthouse Keepers, Florida History and People & local Plants and Animals. Moms & Dads, this is ideal for kids ages 10 and under. Please bring a small beach/picnic mat for your child. Lighthouse Sunset Tour

Take in the spectacular sunset views. Visitors get an inside look at the nuts & bolts of a lighthouse watchroom. Lighthouse Moonrise Tour

A howling good time and spectacular evening view of a full moon from the top of the tower! Tour time approximately 75 minutes, 15 Members, $20 Non-Members, RSVP required, 561-747-8380 x101. Tours are weather permitting. Children must be accompanied by an adult and be at least 48" tall to climb.
