We are having an over abundance of tomatoes right now and our youngest daughter wanted to make a pizza. 

I thought, I can make some homemade Pizza Sauce, so I did. 

I took the tomatoes that we had and blended them with an onion and a bell pepper, then I added to the blender, salt, pepper, oregano, basil, garlic, parsley,  sugar, and a bay leaf. 

I let it cook down until it as pizza sauce consistency and then put of the pizza crust with hamburger and mozzarella cheese.

Baked until crispy and then served.. It was delicious..

Think out side the box and go for it..
