Mario Carey and Antoine Adderley are both Brokers and Appraisers within the company, although Mario is the Broker for Mario Carey Realty. Brokers and agents do the same type of work, but brokers are licensed to manage their own real estate businesses. Sales agents must work with a broker. Appraisers and assessors of real estate estimate the value of real property—land and the buildings on that land— before it is sold, mortgaged, taxed, insured, or developed.
