Today I educated a buyer on doing their Due Diligence. The buyer said, I have heard of due diligence but what does it really mean. I explain due diligence is any information you can find on a property to include but not exclusive too:
•1. Comparables to determine a property value.
•2. Title, judgments and Liens.
•3. Condition of property to include inspections, video of plumbing and AC.
•4. Rent survey.
•5. Check out the neighborhood.
Due Diligence can be done by anyone. If your working with a Realtor, they will be able to help you find your answer so you may make an inform decision when purchasing a property.
