Denver Area Foreclosures - New Record!

By
Real Estate Agent with Colorado Realty Professionals

While the bloodbath (bloodbath may be a little harsh) may be nearing an end, the data keeps pouring in and 2007 kind of sucked!  OK for almost, 40,000 Coloradoans, it really sucked!

Almost 40,000 homes were foreclosed on in Colorado last year (39,915 to be exact), that breaks a record set only a year earlier.

The good news;  The absorbtion rate of these properties is up, and the total number of homes on the market is down from over 35,000 to under 30,000 year to year.

A good time to sell, not so much...A good time to buy, You Bet!
