Edmonds New Construction says "Welcome Home!"

By
Home Stager with Staging Seattle, King & Snohomish Counties

Staging is all about creating a welcoming atmosphere and creating buyer interest in a home.  Recent studies have shown that greater than 75% of home buyers use the Internet to search for homes prior to viewing them in person.  Staging highlights the home, not the "stuff".

This just completed Edmonds home, built by Craig Reimer of Eaglewood Construction, was recently staged by SISTERS Interior Redesign.  The craftsman style home features breathtaking views of Puget Sound from almost every room and is a wonderful home for entertaining.  If you are in the neighborhood, stop by and take a look!   The listing agents are John Bishoff and John Reich of Windermere Real Estate, Edmonds.  The home is open on weekends, and they look forward to meeting you!  901 Cedar Street, Edmonds, WA 98020

Wow - I would love to wake up to a view like that. (All we have in my area are houses way too close together!)  Beautiful job and great colors.

That looks beautiful.  Great job Diana!  Do you rent the furniture or move it from house to house?

Thanks for stopping by, Cindy, Kathy, Lynn and Melissa!  This home was very fun to stage.  We had a beautiful sunny weekend and both the Saturday and Sunday open houses were a huge success!  People were touring the home non-stop both days and the agent was at the home past 6 p.m. as people just kept stopping by to take a look.  The builder is great to work with and his parents and my parents went to college together back in the 60's.  Small world!

Melissa, We own all of the furniture and accessories we use in staging.  We have a warehouse and currently have enough inventory to stage about 15 houses.  Thanks for asking!

What a beautiful home! Your staging is fantastic - and I love the colors you used.

Where did you get those sofas, if you don't mind sharing?

Bevin - Thank you!  Working with color and artwork are two of my most favorite parts about staging.  Both can bring so much to a space.  The two slipcovered loveseats are from IKEA, the Ektorp line.  We love them because they go in almost any style home, the slipcovers are washable, the pieces are lightweight (that's really important!) and they look identical to the Pottery Barn "basic" line, which is very popular.  We've got loveseats, sofas and chairs in this style.

Thanks Diana! I thought that was the IKEA set - they look so much better in your staging than on the website though!

Very nicely done, Diana! I'll have to revisit Ikea one of these days, I haven't been in years.
The home looks like it has great views and detailing.  ...Wow-enough inventory for 15 homes, thats impressive.  I'd love to know how you keep it all organized.  Again, great job!

Sandy - This home does have wonderful architectural details.  The builder is really a craftsman.  Our system for organization:  a large warehouse space with shelving three tiers high for furniture, my sister Alisa's garage for all of our lamps, accessories, towels, toss pillows, two of my mom's spare bedrooms (she lives in a 7 bedroom house) for all of our faux plants.  My mom is our "plant lady" and is great at what she does!  I keep all the artwork at my house in my basement.  It takes a team effort to stay organized!

The Ektorp group is great isn't it?  Great job with accentuating the terrific views.  No curtains needed!
All the best,

Audrey
