Important Update to Route 29 and Linton Hall Road Construction

By
Real Estate Agent with Classic Realty Realtor

I've been endeavoring to keep the Gainesville/Haymarket areas up to date with the progress of work on Route 29 to Linton Hall Road. This is just a reminder that this weekend from 9 pm on Friday August 23rd through Noon on Sunday the 25th, you may want to avoid using Route 29 South or Northbound because of up to an hour of possible delay. Traffic is being changed over a new bridge so that drivers will no longer have to drive over the Railroad Track. This is a huge correction to a safety issue that all of us who live in the Gainesville/Haymarket area will welcome with open arms. It will provide all of us with some inconvienience this weekend. Perhaps alternate routes should be considered

To read about the changes taking place this weekend, you can go to this post from the Newsletter of the Heritage Hunt Community in Gainesville.

Additionally, in an earlier post about the Improvement Project, I noted traffic is being rerouted and there is a New Traffic Signal (Signal already in place).

This is an important update to Route 29 and Linton Hall Road Construction project.

David,

Road construction and delay in traffic situations is important for both vistors and locals in your area! I hope you are having a great weekend!

Hi David,

Your up-to-the minute road construction report is very clever and important. It seems like everywhere I go these days there's road construction! I just learned they are about to tear up another major highway in TX and I just got back from WI - guess what? The exit I needed to take was under construction and I didn't know about it.

Thanks for all you do. You're a great resource and friend.

David, you do a great job in keeping residents that use Route 29 informed of road construction.   We have many road under construction and cannot drive anywhere without a delay.
