-Do not do anything to drastically change you credit.
-Sometimes paying off your credit cards can hurt you.
-Keeping a balance on 2-3 cards is normal and beneficial.
Misunderstang Your Prequalification
- A pre-qualification and a pre-approval are two different things.
- Pre-approvals must have these checked: Tax returns, Pay stubs, and Bank Statements.
Loan Officers
- Do not just use "any loan officer."
- Look for one that was in business before the bust because they have seen the good and bad of the market.
Buying "The Wrong House"
- The best deals are not always in shortsales or foreclosures.
- The best house to buy is one that has a motivated seller.
- "Find the best house for you!"
