What a fabulous time of year filled with tons of family friendly and adult activities.  There are of course many more listed than I have listed here but these are a few of my favorites.  I'll list the family friendly ones first and then on to the spook fest.

1.) Crazy Corn Maze (West Jordan)

These folks have a great Corn Maze with map and true/false trivia throughout the maze. Everyone who tries to complete the trivia gets a prize.  Over 8 acres of corn!!!

Get your pumpkin here at there 4 acre pumpkin patch.  Lots of fun with the whole family.

They also have a Haunted trail that is separate from the corn maze and pumpkin patch. Screams, laughs, and thrills. Starts at dark.

2.) Wheeler Farm Pumpkin Days (Murray)

Wheeler farm has a soft spot in my heart because we live just blocks away.  This place is amazing year round with tons of special events throughout the year.

For Halloween they have some great not so scary activities.  Pumpkin Patch, Hay Maze, Wagon Rides, etc.

They also have a fun Doggie Halloween Costume Contest and a Festival of Scarecrows event that is great for Youth Groups, Service Clubs and families.  Build your Scarecrow and it will be displayed throughout October.

3.) Gardner Village Witch Fest (West Jordan)

If you come to Gardner Village this time of year you are in for a real treat.  Witch Fest is a great 45 day event that hosts a great list of activities.

From Witch displays, scavenger hunt, even breakfast with a witch, there is truly something for everyone.

!NOW TIME FOR SOME SPOOKY!

4.) Fear Factory (Salt Lake City)

This is an old cement factory that started operation back in the late 1800s.  Back in those days manufacturing was a dangerous activity.  Many "accidents" happened here and the place is believed to have a ton of paranormal activity.

Parking is limited but they have a great way to get you here.  Park any where near the Gateway mall and you can ride the apocalyptic Zombie Bus.  The bus ride is free and will take you to and from the Fear Factory.

5.) Nightmare on 13th Street (Salt Lake City)

This is a probably the most popular and loved of the scary attractions here in the Salt Lake Valley.  There are three separate attractions that are certain to scare the, you know what, out of you.

The 13 Levels of Fear attraction will bring out all of the fears your imagination can come up with.  Demons, corpses, cannibalistic clowns, and slithering serpents are about to unfold.

The Dark Harvest exhibit takes place underneath the Harvest Moon.  While treading through this nightmare beware of all the things around.  Move quickly before you are trapped in this nightmare forever.

Mutant attraction is a bio hazard nightmare.  Those that have come in contact with the goo have turned into raging Juggernauts whose only desire is to smash and kill.

6.) Haunted Circus (Draper)

This traveling circus will bring out the scariest, most creepiest things imaginable.  Many that have been to this have said it is the scariest attraction they have ever been to.  Currently it is ranked as the 7th scariest haunted house in the world.

What ever your plans are this time of the year I wish everyone to have a fun, safe and happy time.
