What we can do to drop gas prices

By
Real Estate Agent with BHGRE Metrobrokers

I am sure at one point we have all gotten the "drop gas prices" email.  I, just like many of you drive a full size SUV and it really loves gas.  I received two emails this week about gas prices and I was just wondering which one would really work.

Option 1.

Stop buying gas from companies that import their oil from the middle east.

I have a list if anyone is interested.

Option 2.

Stop buying gas from the two largest oil companies forcing them to lower their prices in turn forcing the other companies to lower their prices.

Let me know what you all think

I don't think any of that will help as long as we have an oil hungry president. Thank goodness none of the candidates have ties to the oil industry. The only thing we can do is wait for fuel cells to become the main source of energy in vehicles. I drive a F-250 diesel and the price in Knoxville today is $3.83 per gallon. Ridiculous!

Kim,

I got these emails too.  Check out the truth behind them on Snopes.com.

Thanks for the comment on my blog!  Sounds like we see the world a whole lot in the same way.

I agree with you Kim.  I'm not looking forward to the projected price of $4.00 a gallon this summer.
