Go Pats - But not on Sunday Afternoons!

By

So – I have this Open House scheduled this Sunday from 1-3pm – and have been watching my fellow realtors to see who else will be hosting an open house as well.  Quickly I saw posts that had open houses scheduled either “Before the Game” or “Come Visit and Watch the Game on Wide screen TV” (Do they provide a tailgate party too? And who is looking at the house??)

Yes, I forgot, it’s New England Football season!  Generally my husband reminds me of this but he fell short this week and this Sunday the Patriots play right smack in the middle of our most popular Open House Window.

So my question to my fellow realtors – Is this such a big deal and does it really affect open house attendance?  What’s a realtor to do to weather the football season?

And GO PATS – but just not on Sunday afternoons!

YOUR THOUGHTS!!

Oh and – since I have your ear or eyes – please take a look at this beautiful home which will be open for your viewing pleasure – SOMETIME SUNDAY !

I have never had a home buyer complain about a TV going (sound off) on Sunday afternoon.

If sellers expect football fans to martyr themselves on Sunday afternoon just cancel the open house.

Sounds like you're a football fan, Lenn, but you have a good point
