Are Home Warranties Worth The Money?

It all comes down to, what are the exact items that are in the warranty?

There are you're very simple home warranties that are not that expensive, but they also will not cover that much.

There are also more complex homeowners warrantees that will cover pool equipment and other outdoor amenities.

Builders Warranties (in Florida) are required if the builder is the one selling you the home.

The law requires in this circumstance a one year warranty, with some builder offering a "2-10"

First year, everything but cosmetics are covered.

Second year, systems (plumbing, heating, air, water) are covered.

Years three through ten cover only structural issues.

This is not only covered by the builder, but it provides pece of mind.

Now back to regular home warrantees, I have clients that have been on both ends of the sword.

I have had clients that have had their whole AC redone, pool system redone, etc.

Then I have had clients that bought an amazing house that provided no issues while it was under warranty.

When you buy a home through Keith Furrow and Associates, we will research the best warranty options for you!
