Noteworthy Stats This Month

  • Sugar Land is still experiencing a hot seller's market with only 2.5 months of inventory (6 months is equilibrium). Some of the most popular neighborhoods are experiencing a housing shortage...with not enough homes available to meet the current demand.

  • Homes appear to be selling quicker this month than last month at an average of only 30 days on the market (versus 47 DOM last month).

  • So far Fort Bend County is on track to sell more homes this year than last year (which was a record year).

  • The YTD average sales price/sf has jumped approximately 15 percent this year from $92.19/sf (2012) to $106.01 (2013).

  • The YTD average sales price has jumped approximately 13.5 percent this year from $288,838 (2012) to $328,101 (2013).
